#### **World Leaks, Handala Hack Team**

**Threat Content Highlights**

-  The latest update to our **Major & Emerging Ransomware & Extortion Threats** Threat Profile features two newly added objects: **[World Leaks](https://app.tidalcyber.com/groups/cffbafea-5cc9-4bb1-96d4-c65f9ca3cef0?tab=3)** and **[Handala Hack Team](https://app.tidalcyber.com/groups/9462ee53-0e12-4441-a722-dabf6b3677b9?tab=4)**, both newcomers to the monthly list of “top” extortion operations in terms of publicly claimed victims.  
    
    - World Leaks is the latest evolution of the prolific [Hive ransomware operation](https://app.tidalcyber.com/groups/05cd82bb-f8fc-40f3-83ba-1586ef953d05), which notably emphasizes data exfiltration over encryption-focused attacks. 
    - Handala Group is a suspected Iran-aligned hacktivist-style group, which uses ransomware & wiper attacks in attempts to extort victims (mainly Israeli & aligned entities).
